PS3 Blinking Red Light Problem Solved – If You Have This Problem, You Really Need To Read This

If you have $150 spare, and you can wait for 2 months for Sony to return a replacement PS3 back to you, then that is the best option.

If you don’t have the time, or the money to do this however, then keep reading.

If the blinking red light on your PS3 is happening before you get onto the loading screen, then do the following:

1. Turn the console off by holding the power button on the front of the console down for 10 seconds.

2. Once the console is on standby, then turn it off from the back.

3. Then press the power button and keep your finger pressed on it, until you hear 3 beeps.

4. This should hard-reset your PS3, so it should restart and then load up with no problems.

If that didn’t work, then try this:

Take out the PS3’s hard drive at the side of the console.

Boot up your ps3 – if it now starts up again, great! This could either mean it is fixed, or you have found out that the hard drive needs replacing. Put the hard drive back into your PS3 and load it up again. If it starts up, and you can play games, congratulations, you’ve just fixed your PS3! If it hasn’t worked, you have a hard drive problem.

The PS3 blinking red light usually means that there is a hardware failure somewhere in your PS3.

If you still don’t want to send it off to Sony (and I don’t blame you), there are many comprehensive guides available on the Internet.

Why Businesses Need To Give Special Attention To Six Sigma Training

The thing that makes Six Sigma training all the more necessary is the fact that such unawareness often extends all the way up to the middle and top management and is not necessarily restricted to the lower levels of the organizational hierarchy.

Lack of proper Six Sigma training can severely restrict the understanding of organizational members, something that will make it quite difficult for the business to carry out the planned Six Sigma implementations.

Explained below are some more reasons that make it necessary for businesses to give special attention to Six Sigma training.

Employees Normally Resist Change

Humans have the general tendency to resist change and employees of a business organization are no different. It has often been noticed that when word about Six Sigma gets out, a significant percentage of employees start feeling uncomfortable, thinking that they will be required to shoulder more responsibilities. Some employees even start thinking that they might lose their jobs after the implementation is over.

All these factors eventually affect employee performance, something that is quite undesirable, especially when the business is in the process of implementing Six Sigma. Providing the right Six Sigma training helps because it allows employees to understand the real purpose of Six Sigma, which is to improve quality and efficiency by reducing the number of defects in business processes.

Training effectively clears the doubts that employees normally have about Six Sigma implementations.

Most Employees Need to Learn the Technicalities Involved

In the standard Six Sigma implementation process, many of the existing employees are inducted as implementation team members, making them directly responsible for the success or failure of the Six Sigma implementation project. This specifically is not a problem, but since most employees generally do not have any prior experience in Six Sigma implementations, it’s highly unlikely that they would be able to do justice to their jobs as implementation team members.

This is exactly why they need to be given adequate training that covers all the important topics and technicalities such as DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control), DMAIV (define, measure, analyze, improve, and verify), fishbone diagram, Ishikawa diagram, Design of experiments (DOE) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

Hiring Six Sigma Professionals is Expensive

Six Sigma professionals such as Black Belts and Master Black Belts can, no doubt, make it easier for businesses to achieve Six Sigma quality and efficiency levels, but since most of them charge top dollars, not all businesses can afford to hire their services. Businesses that are unable to do so can use the most cost-effective solution (i.e. provide professional training to existing employees).

This way, businesses can easily reduce costs and also ensure that future implementations do not get hijacked by unrealistically high demands of Six Sigma professionals.

There are many other reasons, but the ones explained above are probably the most valid since they directly affect the successful completion of Six Sigma implementation projects. Businesses that are skeptical about providing Six Sigma training should definitely consider these factors before making any further decisions.

Does Goal Setting Need To Be Complicated?

Everywhere in personal development books, seminars, and tape programs, you will find something mentioned on goal setting. In seminars countless people go and seminar after seminar, still have no progress to there goals. Does setting goals need to be so complicated?

In personal development we see these countless references to goal setting, and its importance. We understand why, after all without a vision, without a destination, how could we ever get there?

Seminars like in life, has similar principles. 20% are the movers and shakers, while the others are placid, and unmoving. In the seminar this rule holds true, however, on slightly different scales. Everyone in the seminar wants to achieve something, become something, do something, but 20% of the people in the seminar are the ones that are making the money, are achieving the success, are living the life of there dreams.

Time and time again, I see many people who goal set, seminar after seminar, new goals are brought out, and step 1 is found again. I realized this after many goal setting programs. I realized that you must be committed to that 1 goal or 2 or 3 goals perhaps, but you must stick with it or we find ourselves as the majority of the mediocrity we often find in society.

You can break out; you set goals and stick with them, until they are achieved. However, it is not as easy as that. Why does goal setting need to be so complicated! After all we are talking about my whole life. At this point, the procrastination factor kicks in, and we refuse to take action. After all it is planning the next decade, deciding on a meal is hard enough!

It does not have to be complicated. You have gone through life, and had many lessons, I am sure. Now, you must have an idea of what you like and what you don’t like. Goal setting and the process of setting goals should be streamlined, an easy process. The beginning may be hard. When you start you may want to give time to think about it, but this can work to your detriment.

A look at extraordinary good leaders shows us two things; the first is there ability to make quick decisions, and the ability to stick with those decisions in the presence of adversity. It takes time to achieve our goals, at least worthy goals and ideals.

Procrastination now leads to old man procrastination, and if you are reading this, I know that is definitely not a place you want to head to. However, with all the people in the seminars doing exactly that, there is no room to see the fruits that the speaker speaks about.

There is an ideal you, living life how you could only dream of. This person is living an extraordinary life of bliss, achieving goals, and ticking of there dream life to do’s. All you need to do is find that person. What does he or she look like? Now begin setting goals, and more importantly take consistent action now.

Learn once and for all how to goal set.

Why We Need Interactive And Educational Anger Management Groups

Anger is known by everyone. Everybody has felt it: whether as an annoyance or as full fledged rage. It is completely normal, healthy human emotion. It is dangerous when it gets out of control and turns destructive. It may lead to problems in your personal relationships and at workplace. Overall quality of your life is affected.

Everybody in society is experiencing stress in our lives due to demands of our jobs, family situations and economic conditions. The ability to avoid inappropriate expression of anger is a crucial skill to living healthy, happy life. Everyone gets angry. Some people will react very quickly to the perceived pain. Some may not. May be some lose their coolness and hit the roof. The difficult part is learning what to do with these strong feelings. Sometimes it is important to get angry sometimes. Children will understand their mistakes if teacher is angry with them. But anger must be released in proper way. It is one and the same thing like; steam gathering under the lid will blow the lid. When that happens its no fun for anyone. Hence you should learn to manage your anger. Normally when you are angry you can do counting to 10, take a walk, exercise some time, or talk to somebody else about your feelings. These activities usually slowly calm your feelings and after sometime you will not be excited as before.

But if this situation arises frequently then you must think of taking somebody’s help. If your anger lasts longer as time goes on, or if your anger leads into aggression or if your anger is destroying your personal and professional relationships then you must join anger management class which enable s you to talk with other people having same problems.Anger management groups focus on changing the beliefs that support verbally controlling and abusive behaviors.

Anger management groups are formed to support person from age of 12 in learning to deal with anger in a healthy and productive manner. They arrange the group discussions on topic like communication, boundaries, anger cues and reducers and goals. They run 6 to 8 week’s classes one or two hours weekly. Groups are interactive and educational. A person comes to know how different people are facing the same problem by this way his courage is uplifted and he can find out solution for his problem easily. It helps them to accept more responsibility.

High Self-esteem And Public Speaking… Do You Need It?

In a poll taken by MSNBC, men and women were asked what personal qualities had the greatest impact on the success of their careers. Naturally, men and women differed when it came to the importance of intelligence, ability and ‘looks.’ (I know…what a surprise) BUT the one thing they did agree on was the importance of self-confidence.

As you can imagine self confidence is of ‘mucho’ importance when it comes to speaking.

I am sure you know that people make judgments, or size you up, in about five seconds when you first meet them based on things like the eye contact you make and the firmness of your handshake.

Your Audience Sizes You Up Immediately! Be Ready!

Well, you can well imagine how an audience is sizing you up when you take the stage. They judge you by your body and facial movements and, of course, how you deliver your speech. Here’s some interesting info for you.

Speakers who engage their audiences with stories

instead of reading bullet points tend to be considered

to have high self-esteem.

Speakers with a flat voice tend to speak in a low volume.

They are judged as having low self-esteem.

Speakers that make strong eye contact and feel comfortable

within their skin and use natural hand motions are

considered to have strong self-confidence.

Speakers who tend to trail off their voice are considered

to have low self-confidence.

Imagine Having Low Self-Esteem And Still Being

Wealthy And Successful

It all makes sense, doesn’t it? Now, I don’t know what your self-esteem level is.

BUT, I personally know a successful guru, and he actually reveals to his audience that he has ‘low self-esteem.’ Believe it or not…it doesn’t hurt his presentation. It actually creates empathy with his listeners. They think, ‘WOW! He’s that wealthy and successful – has this image problem with himself and still accomplishes his goals. If he can do it…so can I.’

He did this for a reason. It was a self-improvement seminar. Now, I am not telling you to take that course of action in your speaking especially if you’re representing your company and are trying to sell your audience on your goods and services.

Your audience of business men might think: ‘Gee, does this guy need a hug or something?’ What I am presenting to you is that in the beginning of your speaking career you some times have to ‘fake it’ to ‘make it’!

Yes, Grasshopper…You Must Be ‘In The Moment’

When You Speak

There are times when I am in one of my moods…feeling low…but the minute I hit the stage I put that all behind me. You should always focus on the ‘here and now’, be truly engaged and present when you speak (even if things aren’t going well in your life at that moment).

I am not a shrink (although I’ve played one on television), BUT if you have to work on certain personal issues – do it! Just don’t let it effect your speaking. In fact, I am betting the more speaking you do–the more stage time you get–the more successful you will become, and the higher your self-esteem will be in all aspects of your life. It has for me, and I know it will be for you.
